The Know Community Terms of Use

The Know Community is an initiative of the Prompt Response Network (PRN) hosted on a platform managed by the University of New South Wales (UNSW). The PRN is a project led by the National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED), a consortium that includes NDARC (UNSW), NCETA (Flinders University), NDRI (Curtin University) and St Vincent’s Health Australia.

The Know Community is a professional network for people working in areas where they interact with emerging drugs that may be of concern.

By signing up to The Know Community as a member, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below.

People wishing to become a member of The Know Community are required to fill in the registration form on the platform. You will need to provide  your name, organisation name, email, and job role, which will be visible to other members of The Know Community.

New registrations will be reviewed and approved.

New members will be required to sign up, activate their account and set their own password to access the platform, ensuring that your password remains private at all times.

The Know Community allows members of the PRN to communicate and engage with each other in secure private groups, to support public health responses to emerging drugs  at the national and local level.

Membership of The Know Community includes representatives from a wide variety of community, jurisdictional and federal partners with intersecting experiences related to drug use, health and legal consequences of use, treatment, toxicology, research, and law enforcement.

Membership of The Know Community is voluntary, as such, you can withdraw at any time.

At any time, you can request to have your User Account deleted by contacting [email protected].

Termination of a membership may occur at the discretion of the PRN administrator based on a breach of The Know Community terms of use (Terms of Use). A member leaving their role at an organisation/agency should identify a replacement representative to join The Know Community.

As a professional network members are expected to behave professionally and use respectful language. Members who have been reported to have engaged in activity which is not deemed professional or respectful will have their membership reviewed and comments may be removed.
